Procedures for granting official documents from the university

The student is granted official documents from the university proving his affiliation with the university according to the following procedures:

1- Submitting a written request in the name of the Director of Student Affairs.

2- Verifying the student’s continuity in studying at the university.

3- A statement from the archives that all documents in the student’s file have been completed and certified by official authorities.

4- Verifying that the incoming student (non-Yemeni) has been given a passport document with a valid residence permit.

5- A statement from financial affairs that the student has paid the prescribed fees.

6- Directing the printing of the document known to the student in the name of the main authority and completing the documentation procedures, signing and stamping it.

7- Handing over the document to the university representative to complete the transaction. In the event that the transaction is completed in the passport office, the passport is handed over according to official receipt and delivery procedures and returned to Student Affairs.

Proxy system:

1- The student has the right to delegate someone to represent him to complete specific or open transactions for him or to receive official documents from the university, provided that the proxy is issued by official authorities authorized to issue the proxy, and that the proxy is original.

2- For the power of attorney issued from outside the Republic of Yemen, it must be authenticated by the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in the country from which the power of attorney was issued.

3- The agent must prove his identity by means of a valid national ID card or passport.

4- The agent must pay all financial obligations and covenants recorded on the principal.
