Grading, Pass and Failure System

First: Grading System

Graduations for each course are calculated and distributed according to the following classification:


Second: Pass and Fail System:

– The student is considered to have passed the course if he achieves 50% of the total score for the course.

– The student is promoted to the next level if he has three courses remaining.

– The student is considered to have failed the course in the following cases:

1- If he does not achieve the minimum passing grade, which is 50% of the total score for the course.

2- If he is absent from lectures for 25% or more of the hours assigned for lectures without an acceptable excuse.

3- If he is absent from the exam for the course.

4- If he is caught cheating, cheating, helping someone else, or allowing someone else to impersonate him in the exam hall.

– The course for which the student was absent without an excuse is marked with a mark (*).

– The course that the student misses the exam for by the official postponement of the exam and according to the approved form, the mark (*) is not recorded in front of the course.

– The student repeats the study at the same level if he fails in more than three courses.

– The student who remains in his academic level due to failure, interruption or suspension of registration is required to follow the new approved study plans for the batch to which he transferred.

– The student who has missed courses from lower levels must register to take the exam in them one month before the exam date.

– In all cases, when the student repeats the exam of a course, he must pay the fees set for taking the exam.
