Students Opinion

The most beautiful thing I learned in my life recently was through my studies at the College of Administrative and Human Sciences at the International University of Aden Gulf, where I realized more and more awareness, and to always think positively and away from negativity. The university added a lot to me on the academic and personal levels. I have many ambitions and hopes that began with my studies at the university. Many thanks to the faculty members and their smiles that plant optimism in us for a better future.

How I wished to continue my studies and how I dreamed that there would be a university in beloved Al Dhale’e, in the sense of a university that includes within its walls unique specializations and is attended by learners from all the governorate’s directorates. How many circumstances and geographical distance prevented me from studying and made me refrain for years from continuing my higher education in my beloved specialization until the light emerged after the darkness and illuminated Al Dhale’e with the establishment of our beloved university, the University of the Gulf of Aden, after it was an idea in the head of Professor Muhammad Muhammad Al Shaibi, then the men of Al Dhale’e and its loyalists gathered around him and it came to light and the poor man and his son found what he was looking for and the female students found what they were looking for with the presence of a university close to them and less expensive than what they were accustomed to in Aden and Sana’a of exorbitant costs. I rushed to register in the law department, the specialists and law professors came, the lectures began, and four years passed. They were the best days I have ever lived, despite the difficulties I faced and the long hours of studying. But thanks to God first and foremost, and the encouragement of the faculty, headed by Dr. Najib Muhammad Muthanna, the university president, and the wonderful administrative staff, the cooperation of colleagues and unknown soldiers within the university, the prayers of our parents, and the patience of our relatives, we were able to reach this glorious day. It was not just an arrival, but progress and excellence in first place in the first batch of law. I dedicate my success and excellence to the spirit of my beloved father, who never failed to encourage me constantly, despite the paralysis that afflicted him. How I wished that this day could be with us, even if he was in his wheelchair, to see his son standing on the podium in first place with distinction.

A student’s journey towards achieving his dreams is a real journey full of challenges. In our miserable society in which we live, there are many temptations that may try to divert him from his academic path, and lead him towards a dark valley filled with ignorance. However, the steadfast student who is determined to achieve his dreams remains defying the challenges he faces and insisting on learning and knowledge. The student who aspires to achieve his ambitions finds himself facing a society suffering from poverty, ignorance and corruption. He may face repeated temptations that loom before him, such as the desire to get rich quickly and engage in illegal activities. However, the steadfast student remains, believing that knowledge is the only way to change and development. Aden Gulf International University has been the lifeline and compass that helped us determine the path of the future.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the teaching staff who provided us with knowledge and guidance throughout our academic journey. Thanks to their guidance and educational efforts, we were able to develop our skills and expand our knowledge in the field of study. There is no doubt that the university was an environment full of opportunities and challenges. By engaging in student activities and research projects, we learned many lessons that will help us in our future careers. Finally, we would like to congratulate all our fellow graduates who shared this special journey with us, during which we built strong friendships and unforgettable experiences, and I am confident that these bonds will continue in our future lives.

While the situation was bleak and darkness was controlling and spreading among people... the towers of enlightened knowledge were weakening. The situation was transformed from security and peace to war and destruction... where pens were thrown away and weapons were carried to defend the homelands... the situation worsened and everything beautiful was destroyed. The winds of life blew us away and those hopes were shattered in our minds... we were about to bury the folds of knowledge inside us as it was difficult to reach them on the ground and we were about to bury the ambitions of knowledge in our imagination as the bitter reality controlled our dreams... then a great island shone its light in the middle of that darkness as if it was inviting us to embrace our small dream to tell us that there is always hope. We entered it and found the exact opposite of what we had lived with all the people in it who were a beacon for us and helped us achieve our ambition, and helped us water our small dream so it grew and became bigger and today it is being realized. Some of them were kind and compassionate, so their beauty was a religion for us, and some of them were strict and firm, and that was beneficial to us and for us. Yes, gentlemen, it is my university, the International University of Aden, which woke us up from our slumber and helped us overcome our difficulties. It was and still is a great beacon in the province of Dhale. Its light shone after the war destroyed all our ambitions. It gathered the fragments of our minds and thoughts and brought us closer to the specializations that were out of our reach and required us to leave our province to reach them. Yes, it is a light that shone and illuminated the path for us. It is a caring mother who surrounded us with her warmth in that bitter frost that calls for ignorance and obliterates knowledge. It is a blessing from the kind Lord who makes ease after every hardship. So thanks to the giving God for his gift and praise be to him as many times as his blessings have encompassed us and surrounded us. We cannot count his praises. Praise be to him until he is satisfied.

After a period of struggle and insistence on achieving goals, moments of joy and happiness come to quench the thirst of years of hard work.... And the most beautiful moment is when what you have been patient and tired for is achieved... Praise be to God, by whose grace good deeds are accomplished. No matter how many letters and words I speak, I cannot express how much I appreciate everyone who, after God, supported me. Thanks go to everyone I have met, who has read my letters and whose hands have touched me, each by name and title, friends, relatives, and especially doctors, professors, and my great university, which played a major role in my learning and my transition to a high level of knowledge.
